On October 2, 2025, Company Project participated in the official launch of the PARI Chair – Ambitious, Responsible, and Innovative Plastics Technology, led byINSA Strasbourg and supported by a group of committed manufacturers including Hager, ITW, Hansgrohe, Nemera, Kistler, and Plastisud.
This three-year chair is a strategic lever to support the profound transformation of the plastics industry at a time when environmental, regulatory, and industrial challenges are driving rapid change in existing models.
Training and innovation for responsible plastics processing
The PARI Chair has a clear ambition:
to train a new generation of engineers capable of fully integrating the environmental and industrial challenges of the sector, while accelerating applied research on recycled plastics, bio-based materials, impact measurement, and material traceability.
It also aims to strengthen ties between academia and industry in order to promote faster transfer of innovation to production lines.
A structuring launch day
The launch day marked the real starting point for this collective initiative.
The patrons met for an initial scoping session to define the Chair's priorities in terms of both training and research.
The afternoon session, open to a wider audience, provided an opportunity to present the partners' commitments and organize collaborative workshops bringing together students, teachers, and industry representatives.
The presentation on the Plastic Fresco offered an educational perspective on the challenges of circularity, while direct discussions helped align the expectations of future engineers and industry professionals.
Why Company Project is committed
Company Project's involvement in the PARI Chair is part of a strategic ambition:
to support the transformation of the plastics industry towards a model based on thecircular economy, material efficiency, and industrial performance.
The company will participate in the chair's work through:
- sharing feedback from recycling projects and industry structuring initiatives,
- the contribution of concrete use cases to inform teaching and research work,
- contributing to the discussion on the design of future circular industrial chains,
- ultimately welcoming interns, engineers, and doctoral students, particularly in the context of applied research and CIFRE theses.
Through its participation in steering and monitoring committees, the company affirms its role as an industrial player committed to promoting more responsible and innovative plastics processing.
"The plastics industry of tomorrow must be circular, sustainable, and socially inclusive. That's why we want Company Project to be both a testing ground for researchers and a transition accelerator for engineers in training."

A shared vision for the future of the industry
Through the PARI Chair, Company Project reaffirms its commitment to contributing to a sustainable transformation of the plastics industry, based on innovation, cooperation, and skills development.
By bringing together research, education, and industry in a sustainable way, this initiative is a unique chance to build a circular plastics industry that can meet environmental challenges while staying economically strong.
Conclusion
The PARI Chair illustrates a strong conviction:
the transition in plastics manufacturing can only be achieved by closely involving academic and industrial players.
By joining forces with INSA Strasbourg and other sponsors, Company Project is actively participating in the development of an ambitious, responsible, and truly innovative plastics industry that will benefit future generations.
